Sewing is a skill that I have picked up from many different places. It is what connects me to my grandmother, who was also a seamstress, and I have always felt an inclination to not only learn the craft but also utilize it in my career. Since following this path, I have met so many amazing women who have mentored me and helped me master the art of sewing by passing down their many years of knowledge to me. I owe a lot to them and my grandmother whose machine is the heart of my studio. In 2023 I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design, earning a BFA in Textiles and Fashion Design. During my time at SCAD I have also acquired a number of other skills such as print design, weaving, and dyeing. To learn more about me, see the experience tab at the top of this page.
